It was miserably awful. I think the direction had a lot to do with it. Emmy Rossum (Bulma) and James Marsters (Piccolo) are both really good actors. That even they did so badly tells me their direction was all wrong.

And, of course, the story was bad. -_-

I can already see a mob of DBZ fans marching with pitchforks. Cool
