Yeah, jackie chan is cool!

Hey sammael, the cube, i don't know if it's the same thing as i'm thinking. Is it like a bunch of people trapped in a "cube"(i guess) and the story is very mixed up and the majority dies and the rest(like two people) get out and finds out it's only an experiment from the government(I think) ? Because if it is well that movie kinda sucked, lol.(sorry if it is that one)

It's just something about those old kung fu movies.. For one they certainly are funny. I can't believe you haven't seen part two of Snake in the Eagles Shadow. Maybe you can look it up online or something. Good luck being that the movie is rather old.. That movie was the main reason why I started taking Kung Fu.

Hollywood:
Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (the second one wasn't nearly as good)
Wall-E
Anything by Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth)
Bram Stoker's Dracula

Japan:
Shimotsuma Monogatari (translated as Kamikaze Girls when it came over)
Water Boys
Princess Mononoke
Mayonaka no Yaji-san Kita-san (translated as "Yaji and Kita, the Midnight Pilgrims")
Akira

BTW, what about TV? What TV does everyone here like? I'm a big fan of Oz, Buffy (Anything Joss Whedon, actually; Firefly and Dollhouse, too), and Colbert/Stewart on Comedy Central.

Really? I was wondering about that. Loved the series but when it ended so abruptly I was really annoyed. >_< Does the FMA movie complete it?

It kind of completes it. If you loved the serie then you will surely love the movie. The way the movie ends, they could something else after but it can also finish there. I don't know if you see the kind of ending that i'm talking about. I don't wanna spoil anything, you should watch it.

But there's this new thing called full metal alchemist: brotherhood, i don,t know what that is. I'll look at it someday to discover what it is.

I know the manga is still ongoing, so they'll have plenty of material for more movies/shows if they want it (and given that the manga still sells gangbusters, they probably will).

I just looked up Brotherhood on Wikipedia, and I'm so excited that Bones is doing it! Wolf's Rain is one of my favorite anime, so I have high hopes for Brotherhood now.

I'm reading the manga and it's completely different from the anime at about episode 25 and around that. The story and some of the characters.

Yup. I like the manga homunculi better, personally. Smile

I wonder if the new anime will be any closer, or just pick up where the old one stopped. I'll have to see if I can find more info on it.
